I appreciate the careful analysis and want to help clarify some of your questions. Root Markets started out in a number of interesting directions that included both a mortgage lead exchange as well as a clickstream management service. Although there was a lot of speculation for how these two initiatives were connected, they never were. In the end, we decided to have Root Markets (www.rootexchange.com) focus exclusively on the mortgage lead exchange, where it has established a strong position in the market. We spun off the clickstream/attention-related assets into a new entity called AttentionSoft which I am now running out here in SF. Feel free to ping me for more info. -seth sethgoldstein@gmail.com
